Getting the 2020 Census right is important for all American communities – particularly those most likely to be undercounted. When populations are undercounted, it affects our democracy, our state’s representation in federal government, and funding for vital purposes. But it also affects non-profits, because when populations are undercounted and critical needs are underfunded, the pressure mounts on already over-stressed non-profits to address these unmet needs.
