As a proud Affiliate of the North American Association for Environmental Education, The Alliance for New Jersey Environmental Education (ANJEE) presents its 39th Annual Winter Symposium & Conference to be held IN PERSON, focusing on the powerful role of collaboration and networks in moving the field of environmental education forward.

This year’s focused threads are Kids In Nature, Sponsored by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, Climate Change, Sponsored by Green Matters, Inc., Linking Research to Practice to Increase Impact, Field Studies – Topics and Best Practices.

New to the winter conference is the Research Symposium. This curated event will take place on Thursday, January 11. Embark on a transformative journey as we present our First Annual Symposium. This dynamic event serves as a rallying call for educators, environmental enthusiasts, and change-makers to unite in their commitment to building a sustainable and thriving future for New Jersey.

The Annual Conference will take place on January 12. A full day of workshops for formal, non-formal and higher education teachers, with topics ranging from Pre-K through adulthood. There will also be limited outdoor field experience workshops available.

This Environmental Education Symposium is a vibrant convergence of minds and hearts dedicated to advancing environmental education and fostering a sense of collective responsibility for the well-being of our beloved Garden State. Join us for an engaging day filled with inspiring panel presentations and collaborative discussions that will empower participants to take meaningful action in their communities.

Forge connections with fellow environmental advocates, educators, and leaders during networking breaks and collaborative activities. The symposium provides a platform for meaningful dialogue, idea exchange, and the formation of partnerships that will amplify the impact of environmental education initiatives across New Jersey.
