FreeJoin Education Law Center virtually on Thursday, June 9, at 4 p.m. ET for “Beyond Either/Or: The Constitutional Right to an Equitable and Diverse Public Education,” featuring esteemed civil rights law professor and litigator, John Brittain, who served on the original counsel team in Sheff v. O’Neill, the landmark school desegregation case decided by the Connecticut Supreme Court in 1996.
Professor Brittain’s remarks will be followed by a panel presentation featuring Elise Boddie, Professor of Law at Rutgers Law School, and moderated by ELC Trustee Janel George, Associate Professor of Law and Director of the Racial Equity in Education Law and Policy Clinic at Georgetown Law School, and an audience Q & A.
