Emergency Preparedness for arts, history and cultural organizations

The Somerset County Cultural & Heritage Commission is offering an in person workshop, Emergency Preparedness with Ellen Korpar, for local arts, history and cultural organizations. This workshop was planned to occur last November but has been rescheduled to February 28, 2023.

Time: 10:00am – 2:00pm (a short break will occur at 12:00pm)

Join us in welcoming Ellen Korpar, an Emergency Preparedness Consultant, on February 28, 2023, for a presentation that will provide an interactive discussion on emergency preparedness. Topics to be covered include:

• Disaster planning processes
• The contents of a disaster plan
• Resources to help with planning
• Plus an example walk-through risk assessment of a site

A light lunch will be provided at the workshop. Come with questions to help benefit your arts, history or cultural nonprofit organization!
