Meet Casey Carpenter

After 30 years in corporate being one of the only Black women in the room, I know firsthand the external and internal pressures put on marginalized groups in these types of spaces. When it’s twice as hard to overcome barriers to success, operating with extreme excellence to get ahead becomes nonnegotiable—so that’s exactly what I learned to do.

Facing severe stage fright and shyness, I had to master my introverted nature and learn to be a person of presence in order to thrive. By doing so, I challenged the misconception that you must be naturally charismatic and extroverted to be a gifted communicator and person of influence.

With my success, I pivoted my career to become a sought-after keynote speaker and a board member of the National Speaker Association (NSA).

Now, I use my combined training and experience to coach women in leadership development, executive presence, and public speaking. To date, I have consulted with Fortune 500 companies, am a member of the International Coaching Federation and facilitate groups of women CEOs as a CHIEF Guide. My inside-out approach equips women to excel when the stakes are high, enact their own leadership styles, and become leaders who show up and speak up.
