What does your job description say about your organization? If you’re recruiting to fill a vacancy like so many nonprofits these days, the job description may be the first thing a jobseeker will see.
A well-crafted job description aligns people with organization goals, vision, and culture. It also has an impact on recruitment and hiring; diversity and equity; performance management (especially in this remote work environment); compensation decisions; promotions and employee development; and engagement and employee retention. Learn how to write a job description, recruit, and hire to attract the right talent and set yourself apart from the competition.
In this engaging and interactive webinar, we will explore:
- The difference between internal and external job descriptions
- The importance of job descriptions and how they serve to protect your organization
- Strategies for gathering data and information necessary to develop job descriptions
- Determining the necessary content for your job descriptions
- Developing an effective job description
- When to update your job descriptions
