More Ways to Serve: A Look at the Gubernatorial Appointments Process
March 8, 2022 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
FreeMuch of New Jersey state policy is influenced by its more than 1,100 boards, commissions, and authorities. These groups touch virtually all aspects of our everyday lives and therefore have significant impact on non-profits’ work in the state.
Please join the Center for Non-Profits on Tuesday, March 8th from 10am-11am to learn about New Jersey’s appointments process from Sam Parker, Director of Appointments for Governor Murphy. Ms. Parker, who has significant experience in the non-profit sector, will educate participants about the appointments process in general, discuss pathways for being appointed to a board or commission, and highlight the potential impacts such an appointment could have on your non-profit. There will also be an opportunity for Sam to answer your questions on this critically important process.
