Moving Beyond the Pandemic: Business’ Role in Child Care
April 28, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
FreeMany New Jersey businesses continue to struggle with inadequate staffing due to the lack of child care options needed by their existing and prospective employees. Without access to child care, parents, and primarily mothers, cannot return to work. As we begin post-pandemic to reimagine child care, what steps can businesses –large and small– take to support the child care needs of their employees?
Please join Advocates for Children of New Jersey and the New Jersey Business and Industry Association (NJBIA) for a discussion on the role businesses can play in supporting the child care needs of their workforce.
Hear from childcare providers, businesses and a county resource and referral agency on various ways you can incorporate childcare offerings into your employee benefits package to attract, retain and support parents in your workforce.
Our guest speaker will be Senate Majority Leader M. Teresa Ruiz. Majority Leader Ruiz will be discussing her comprehensive bill package addressing the needs of childcare providers, employers, and working parents across our state.
