In this 90-minute virtual session, participants will take a deep dive into the findings from the study, “Nonprofit Executive Labyrinth: A Behind the Scenes Look for BIPOC Professionals.” The study, commissioned by the Nonprofit Professionals of Color Collective, focuses on action-oriented solutions to address the obstacles and challenges faced in recruiting BIPOC professionals. This includes, but is not limited to, market competitiveness, generational expectations, and cultural clashes. Through real-life examples and interactive case studies, participants will learn and develop strategies for overcoming these barriers and fostering an inclusive organizational culture in the nonprofits they are affiliated with.
