Wed, Jan 26- Session 1-Nonprofit Finance 101 is an introduction to nonprofit finance terminology, financial reporting, governance, and financial best practices.
Wed, Feb 9- Session 2-Nonprofit Budget Basics focuses on budgeting and how to build a plan for the coordination of resources and expenses to most effectively serve your mission and build financial sustainability.
Wed, Feb 23 – Session 3– Cash Forecasting offers detailed instructions for converting your annual budget to a cash forecast, and a special focus on available resources, especially utilization of cash with donor restrictions and without donor restrictions.
Wed, Mar 9 – Session 4– Cost Allocations, Benchmarking, and Ratio Analysis includes a discussion on cost allocation and using benchmarking and ratio analysis to better understand organizational performance.
Wed, Mar 23 – Session 5– Financial Scenarios for a Crisis explores planning for and responding to unforeseen disruptions, such as natural disasters, economic crises, and, of course, pandemics with a look at current COVID response resources and requirements.
