Show Your Auditors Some Love! Stay Audit-Ready All Year Round

Whether you’re new or seasoned, join us for tips to keep your auditors happy by staying audit-ready all year-round. In this webinar, we’ll focus on ways to leverage the month-end close to confidently prepare for and navigate the financial statement audit process.

Who Should Attend: Nonprofit executives, board members, or finance staff who are new to the financial statement audit process, or who would like a refresher; and auditors who would like to stay a part of the conversation.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Review the objectives, goals, and stages of a financial statement audit.
  2. Define the types of procedures performed and items requested by auditors during a financial statement audit.
  3. Summarize how to utilize the month-end close process to effectively prepare for an audit.

Participants will earn 1.0 CPE credit in Auditing.

To receive credit, attendees must respond to three out of the four poll questions asked during the program.

Once registered, you will automatically receive access to the webcast recording and, if you qualified for CPE, have the ability to download your certificate.

Dan Tritch
Director, Your Part-Time Controller, LLC

Dan Tritch, CPA, is a Director in YPTC’s Remote Services group. He has spent the majority of his career in the nonprofit accounting arena, with more than eight years in nonprofit audit and five years in outsourced accounting. Dan is a CPA licensed in the State of Indiana, and also has a passion for education, is a Teach for America alum, and volunteers with Letters to a Pre-Scientist. Dan is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). In addition to orientation training at YPTC, Dan is a frequent presenter at external events. He has presented at events sponsored by Arizona State University’s Lodestar Center and the Alliance of Arizona Nonprofits. He has also presented in webinars sponsored by the Nonprofit Association of Washington and Phoenix Philanthropy.

Aiesha Williams
Associate, Your Part-Time Controller, LLC

Aiesha Williams is an Associate with Your Part Time Controller, LLC (YPTC) with knowledge in nonprofit accounting for 501(c)(3), 501 (c)(4) charitable organizations and 501 (c)(6) associations in accordance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles. Prior to serving clients at YPTC, Aiesha worked with a national public accounting firm and with a mid-sized Chicago-land public accounting firm, where she performed financial statement audits for financial service entities, employee benefit plans, and federal compliance single audits for nonprofit and governmental clients. Aiesha earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Tennessee State University and a master’s in accounting and financial management from Keller Graduate School of Management.
