Free“Winter Termination” period ends on March 15, 2022, for all water, electric, and sewer customers. Individuals in arrears with their utility accounts will be at risk of service disconnection.
Between the pandemic’s impact on health, employment, supply chain, along with inflation and housing challenges, keeping up with basic costs are challenging for everyone, but critical for low-income families. There is help for paying utility bills in New Jersey. In southern New Jersey, South Jersey Gas and Atlantic City Electric are reaching out to the communities they serve to make the various energy assistance initiatives available to clients who qualify.
