Activities that promote voting and civic participation are allowed for 501(c)(3) organizations, but those activities, including candidate engagement, voter registration, and education, must be strictly nonpartisan. However, how can you be sure your communications, interactions, and plans are unbiased and nonpartisan? Join us on July 19 at 2 pm ET/ 11 am PT for our one-hour webinar Staying Nonpartisan During Voter Engagement to get the answers you need!

RSVP NOW

Joining us will be guest speaker David Levitt, Principal at Adler & Colvin. During this webinar, we will discuss what is considered to be nonpartisan, what activities are acceptable, and will provide further IRS guidance around tax-exempt voter engagement. Mr. Levitt’s practice focuses on the representation of nonprofit and tax-exempt organizations, with an emphasis on program-related investments, social enterprise, political advocacy, and nonprofit corporate governance.

The slides and recording from the webinar will be provided to everyone who RSVPs. Live captioning will be available. Please email info@nonprofitvote.org for additional accommodations (such as live ASL interpretation) if needed.
