The Art of Story Telling for Building Social Entrepreneurship

The New Jersey Social Entrepreneurship Institute is delighted to collaborate with Story2, a NJ-based social venture that has taught the art and science of storytelling to over a quarter million people around the world, to launch a vibrant hub for social entrepreneurship and community growth at Rutgers University-Newark. Storyhood is a hybrid, in-person and online storytelling workshop that enables people to experience, share, and build the power of their own and others’ stories.

Participants will learn:
– 5 specific tools to speak and write confidently in high-stakes communications;
– how to use defining moment stories to connect with key audiences; and
– how storytelling builds intersectional communities of change.

This launch is the first in a series of workshops, speakers, and group events over the next eight months, culminating in a celebratory Social Entrepreneurship Summit late spring 2022.
