USING SYSTEMS OF SAFETY TO IDENTIFY AND CONTROL HAZARDS

February 13 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free

Recognizing Hazardous Conditions
Proactive Systems of Safety are the key to preventing exposures and injuries.  Unexpected releases of hazardous toxic, reactive, or flammable chemicals create the possibility of a disaster for workers, employers, and communities.  Employers and workers should be aware that common sanitizers and sterilizers could contain hazardous chemicals. Employers must protect their workers from being exposed to hazardous chemicals used for cleaning and disinfection.

Join us for a virtual workshop as we introduce the concept of Systems of Safety and accident prevention though Identifying safety system failures.

Who Should Attend? Workers employed both in healthcare and non-healthcare who are at risk of hazardous chemical exposure  such as hospital, social service, retail, service, child care, restaurant, manufacturing, transportation, distribution, warehouse, and Labor/Management Health and Safety Committee Members, Union representatives, Health and Safety Professionals, Supervisors, and Risk Managers.

Participant space is limited, please register early.
