Watch Party – The American Rescue Plan and Nonprofits: A Transformative Opportunity

Join your fellow Center members on a special Watch Party of the recorded session from the 2021 NJ Nonprofit Conference, The American Rescue Plan and Non-Profits: A Transformative Opportunity. 

New Jersey was allocated approximately $10 billion for state and local relief from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA), including specific allocations for counties and municipalities. Nonprofits are uniquely positioned to be strong partners in implementing transformative community solutions from this “once in a lifetime” influx of federal dollars and boosting partnerships with stakeholders at all levels of government. This session covered the background and status of the ARPA and its nexus with nonprofits; how nonprofits can benefit from currently planned statewide programs and provide input into future government plans; and shared examples of how local authorities are planning to direct these funds into their communities. The Watch Party will include live updates of ARPA.
