GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The overall responsibility of the Recruiter is posting jobs, screen resumes, advertise openings, register and attend college & community job fairs, maintain applicant tracking system, this will be done through telephone interaction, personal interaction meetings, maintaining records and resources including typing and data entry, mailing and distribution.

 

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to interact professionally with others and with a high level of confidentiality
Ability to maintain appropriate relationships with people with disabilities and at-risk adolescents utilizing normalization principles
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of CAU staff, members’ families, and within the community
Ability to express oneself, both in writing and verbally, in a comprehensive manner, using the English language
Good planning and organization skills
Working knowledge of computer software programs including Microsoft Office products
Ability to be resourceful and work independently
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions
Ability to problem-solve
Ability to deliver effective presentations
Ability to deliver effective training programs
Ability to maintain and analyze budgets and interpret and analyze financial reports
Demonstrate responsible leadership, mentoring and role-modeling
Access to an automobile vehicle, valid driver’s license and safe driving record required
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

HS required. Previous experience in Recruiting. Non-profit experience a plus. Experience in HRIS, computer software, Word, Excel, Publisher and other related programs.
