Organization Overview: Moms Helping Moms Foundation is a renowned diaper and period supply bank dedicated to supporting families in need across New Jersey. Our mission is to provide families in New Jersey with equitable access to the essentials they need to provide their children with a safe and healthy start. Through community engagement, donation drives, and partnerships, we work to make a significant impact on the lives of those we serve.

Position Summary: The Executive Director will be the face of the organization, driving strategic vision and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be a passionate leader committed to advocating for maternal and child welfare. This role requires a high level of responsibility, including overseeing daily operations, fundraising efforts, and program development, as well as managing staff and building strong community and donor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Leadership and Management: Lead the organization and be accountable for its overall success. Directly supervise senior management and establish a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

·      Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the organization’s mission and broaden its impact. Ensure strategies are effectively executed and adapt plans based on evolving community needs and organizational goals.

·      Operations Management: Oversee operations team, ensuring efficient resource management, operational excellence, and compliance with all governmental regulations. Optimize processes and infrastructure to support service delivery and organizational growth.

·      Financial Oversight: Develop the annual budget and ensure sound financial practices. Monitor the budget, manage financial risks, and report financial status to the board of directors.

·      Fundraising and Development: Oversee development team to support fundraising efforts, including donor cultivation, grant writing, and the development of new revenue streams. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, funders, and community leaders.

·      Community and Public Relations: Serve as the primary spokesperson for the organization, enhancing its public image and increasing community awareness and engagement. Foster partnerships with other organizations and participate in public events.

·      Board Relations: Communicate effectively with the Board of Directors, providing timely and accurate information necessary for decision-making. Help guide and direct organizational governance and policy.

Qualifications:

·      Proven leadership experience in a non-profit organization, with a preference for backgrounds in community service or related fields.

·      Strong operational and financial acumen, with experience managing complex budgets.

·      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with diverse groups.

·      Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans.

·      Passionate about Moms Helping Moms Foundation’s mission and committed to community service.

·      Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field preferred.

Compensation: $100,000 - $125,000
