Director of Housing & Financial Stability

Annual Salary: $65,000-$85,000

Reporting to VP of Programs, Safe + Sound Somerset is seeking a Director of Housing & Financial Stability to join the executive team of our growing trauma-informed organization. You will be a hands-on and participative director with full accountability for Safe+Sound Somerset’s residential program, providing direction and supervision of housing and helpline services including the organization’s 24/7 Talk and Text Helpline, Emergency Safe House, Case Management services and Housing First program, for survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault. You will play a critical role in partnering with leadership team in strategic decision making and operations, as we continue to enhance our quality programming and build capacity to support our community.

To be successful in this role, you will need in-depth crisis response, housing, case management and advocacy, and demonstrate the ability to lead diverse functional areas.

Qualifications:

Bachelor/master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field with Minimum of five years’ experience in domestic and/or sexual violence, or other crisis service in a residential setting, minimum of five years’ housing, case management and advocacy experience and minimum three years’ supervisory experience in crisis response environment. Knowledge of Housing First model is a plus. You will have excellent leadership quality and the ability to motivate staff, board members and volunteers.
