Energy Costs: Eliminate this Barrier to Stability

New Jersey utility companies – electric and gas – offer assistance to low- & moderate-income families. But not everyone who is eligible is aware of options or knows how to apply. Regardless of your organization’s focus, understanding the available assistance programs is important to protect the people and the communities you serve. And, don’t forget your own staff and volunteers!

Shut off notices started going on March 15. Christina Teel, Customer Outreach Program Specialist with South Jersey Gas, will explain the various options for relief and the process for applying.

Who should attend:   Community serving individuals, nonprofit organization staff and volunteers in New Jersey
